Everyone is welcome at Guaranty Media’s Reindeer Run and Jingle Bell Jog benefitting Forum 35 on Friday, December 6th during Downtown Baton Rouge’s Festival of Lights! Jingle Bell Jog, our 1 mile fun run, takes place at 7pm and the Reindeer Run 5K is at approximately 7:20pm!
The holiday fun continues after the race at the Holiday Village on North Boulevard with food, drinks, music and games! The Festival of Lights will feature Santa Clause, live music, fireworks, free outdoor ice skating and much more! Bring the entire family out for the run and enjoy all of the holiday fun!
Registration Information
Online registration is open through Thursday, December 5
th and registration will be available at the race near the start/finish line. Please remember to register early to guarantee your shirt size! Race day registration is payable via cash or credit card.
Registration prices are as follows :
- 1 mile fun run is $20 in advance and $30 the day of the race
- 5K is $35 in advance and $45 the day of the race
Don’t want to participate in the race? That’s ok too! Get your tickets to the Reindeer Village for the after party for just $20. The after party will have music, food from local restaurants, beer and wine! We will also have a Kids Village with games and raffle prizes for the kids to win!
Race Location
The start/finish line will be located on North Boulevard near St. Ferdinand Street. The 5K course will start at 4th Street and North Boulevard, running down 4th Street to the State Capitol Park on Spanish Town Road, back down 4th Street to North Boulevard where runners will go down North to North 18th Street and back down North to 4th Street. Join us at the Reindeer Village, located on North Boulevard in front of the City Club, before and after the races! The course is subject to change.
Starting Time
The Jingle Bell Jog 1 mile fun run will begin at 7:00 p.m. The Reindeer Run 5K will begin after the 1 mile fun run at approximately 7:20 p.m.
Timing and Prizes
All registered runners will receive a bib with their official race number and will be able to see their times after the race. Age group and overall winners will receive prizes. We will have more information on prizing soon.
Packet Pick Up
Participants are encouraged to pick up their race packets early. Pre-race packet pickup will take place Thursday, December 5 from 12:00 NOON to 6:00 PM at Varsity Sports located at 2055 Perkins Rd. Runners can pick up their packets on race day near the start finish line begining at 4:00 PM.
